King County runs from downtown Seattle across Lake Washington to the Eastside collector belt — Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Issaquah, Sammamish, and Mercer Island — and south through Renton and the Valley. It holds the densest concentration of luxury, exotic, and high-end EV vehicles in Washington. The threat to those cars isn’t UV; it’s the chemical contamination of PNW rain that arrives carrying a week of road salt and brake dust. PACMods serves the whole county from one bay, with the logistics that make a 35-minute shop reachable from any of it.

Pickup and delivery — the bay is the value.

PACMods sits 35 minutes north of the county in Monroe. Most King County clients never make that drive — we collect from the Seattle or Eastside address, including secured downtown and underground parking with key-fob handoff, document the vehicle condition with photos and paint-gauge readings, and return it concours-clean against a signed handover sheet. The economics that come with a King County storefront are not the economics that produce concours-grade work; the value stays in the bay, not the address.

Q/01Do you have a King County shop?
No — and that’s intentional. The bay is in Monroe, 35 minutes north. The overhead of a Seattle or Bellevue storefront is not what produces concours-grade work. Complimentary pickup and white-glove delivery covers the whole county, keeping the value in the bay rather than the address.
Q/02Which King County cities do you cover?
All of them, with city-specific landing pages for Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, and Issaquah. Pickup and delivery also reaches Sammamish, Mercer Island, Newcastle, Renton, and the rest of the county. We collect the vehicle, document its condition, and return it concours-clean.
Q/03Do you do non-insurance body work in King County?
Yes — direct-pay cosmetic and collision repair on Porsche, Tesla, Ferrari, McLaren, Aston, BMW M, Rivian, and G-Wagon platforms. We do not work with insurance carriers. The work is scoped and quoted in writing before tooling, and timeline and quality are not negotiated against a carrier formula.
Q/04How long does paint protection film last?
Professionally installed Ultrafit paint protection film carries a 10-year manufacturer warranty against yellowing, cracking, and delamination. In Pacific Northwest conditions, the film typically performs well past the warranty window if washed correctly and not exposed to chemical contamination.
Q/05How much does PPF cost in Seattle?
Full-body PPF on a luxury or exotic vehicle at PACMods starts at the upper end of the Seattle market because we work exclusively with concours-grade Ultrafit film and back every install with a 10-year warranty. Partial coverage (front-end, track package, or high-impact areas) starts lower. Request a private estimate for a vehicle-specific quote.
Q/06What paint protection film do you install?
PACMods installs Ultrafit — a top-tier self-healing paint protection film with a 10-year warranty. It is optically clear, hydrophobic, and swirl-resistant; we select the coverage tier and finish (gloss or matte) per vehicle and intended use, from daily-driven streets to dedicated track time.
Q/07How do I pay, and do you take a deposit?
We accept credit cards, debit cards, and NFC mobile payments. Payment is due on completion, before the vehicle leaves, unless the written quote says otherwise. A deposit may be required where the build needs parts we order in and those parts come to more than $500 — it covers the order, and it is set out on the written quote before any work starts. We do not bill insurance carriers, so the number on your written quote is the number you pay.
Q/08Do you work with insurance companies?
PACMods is an independent shop by intention and does not work with insurance carriers. We perform cosmetic and collision repair on a direct-pay basis for owners who want concours-quality work without the carrier-driven shortcuts that compromise luxury vehicles. We can help you understand what an insurance reimbursement might cover, but the work itself is between you and us.
