What we hold, and why. And why.

Taking custody of a car means keeping a proper record of it. This page sets out exactly what that record contains, how long we keep it, who else ever sees it, and how to have your vehicle taken out of the public gallery.

PRIVACY POLICY
01

What this policy covers.

This policy explains what Prestige Automotive Customs collects when you enquire about work, bring us a vehicle, or use this website, and what we do with it. It applies to the shop at 14525 254th Ave SE, Monroe, WA 98272-9333 and to pacmods.com. If something here is unclear, call +1 360 926 9009 and ask — we would rather explain it than have you guess.

02

What we collect from you.

When you contact us we collect your name, phone number, email address, and anything else you choose to put in the enquiry — usually the car, the work you want, and where you are based. If you become a client we also hold the billing address and the records of what we quoted, what we did, and what you paid. We do not buy contact data from third parties.

03

What we collect about your vehicle.

Taking custody of a car means recording it properly. We hold the make, model, year, colour, VIN, registration, mileage at intake and delivery, paint-gauge readings, and a detailed photographic record of the vehicle’s condition on arrival, during the work, and at handover. That record protects both of us: it is what a written delivery sheet and material ledger are built from, and it is what settles any question about the condition a car arrived in.

04

Why we hold it.

To quote accurately, schedule the work, perform it, and stand behind it. Warranty is the long tail — registering paint protection film with the manufacturer in your name requires us to keep the install record for the life of that warranty, and a paint or refinish claim years from now is only answerable if the original job record still exists.

05

Photography and the public gallery.

We photograph every vehicle as a condition record. Some of that work also appears in our public gallery, on this site, and on our social channels. We do not publish your name, your address, or your registration plate, and we will not publish a car at all if you ask us not to — just say so at the consult or email hi@pacmods.com at any point, including after the fact, and we will take it down.

06

Who we share it with.

Film and coating manufacturers, so a warranty can be registered in your name. Payment processors, who handle card details directly — we never see or store a full card number. Our web hosting and form providers, who process enquiry data on our behalf. Suppliers and sublet specialists where a job genuinely needs them, and then only the vehicle details required to do that piece of work. We do not sell your information, and we do not work with insurance carriers, so nothing goes to one.

07

The enquiry form on this site.

The concierge form is supplied by a third-party provider and is embedded on our pages. Submitting it sends your enquiry to that provider and then to us. The embed may set cookies or similar identifiers of its own; those are governed by the provider’s policy as well as this one. If you would rather not use it, phone or email us instead — it reaches the same people.

08

Cookies.

Two cookies are strictly necessary and always set: one by us to protect forms against cross-site request forgery, and one by the enquiry form’s provider for bot protection, which expires after about half an hour. Neither profiles you. Beyond those we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used and where people get stuck — those set their own cookies, and they load only if you accept them on the banner. Decline and they are never fetched. You can change your choice at any time from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

09

How long we keep it.

Enquiries that never become jobs are kept for two years and then deleted. Job records, the photographic condition record, and warranty registrations are kept for as long as the relevant warranty runs and for a reasonable period afterwards, because that is what makes a claim answerable. Financial records are kept for the period the law requires.

10

Your choices.

Email hi@pacmods.com to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have your car removed from the public gallery, or to ask us to delete what we are not required to keep. We will confirm receipt and tell you what we can and cannot delete, and why. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time without affecting work in progress.

11

Security.

Job records and photography are held in access-controlled systems, and only staff who need a record to do their work can reach it. No system is perfect; if we ever discover a breach affecting your information we will tell you what happened and what we are doing about it.

12

Children.

This is a business for vehicle owners. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16, and we have no reason to.

13

Changes, and how to reach us.

We will update this page when our practices change and move the date at the top. For anything about your information, email hi@pacmods.com, phone +1 360 926 9009, or write to 14525 254th Ave SE, Monroe, WA 98272-9333.
