The terms behind the quote. Behind the quote.

No estimates sight-unseen, no carrier-driven shortcuts, and no surprises on the invoice. These are the terms the written quote and the delivery sheet sit on top of.

TERMS OF SERVICE
01

What these terms cover.

These terms apply to the use of pacmods.com and to work carried out by Prestige Automotive Customs at 14525 254th Ave SE, Monroe, WA 98272-9333. Booking a vehicle in, or approving a written quote, means these terms apply to that job alongside the quote itself. Where a signed quote or delivery sheet says something different, that document wins.

02

Estimates and written scope.

We do not give estimates sight-unseen. Every job starts with a walk-around in the bay, paint-gauge readings where they matter, and a written scope with itemised labour and materials. The figure on that written quote is the figure you pay. If we find something during the work that changes it — hidden damage, a panel that will not take film, a part that arrives wrong — we stop, tell you, and get your approval before continuing.

03

Authorisation to perform work.

By leaving a vehicle with us and approving a quote, you confirm you own the vehicle or are authorised to commit it to this work, and you authorise us to perform the scope described and to operate the vehicle as needed on and around the premises for assessment, road-testing, and quality control.

04

Payment.

Payment is due on completion, before the vehicle leaves, unless the written quote says otherwise. We accept credit cards, debit cards, and NFC mobile payments. A deposit may be required where a build needs parts we order in and those parts come to more than $500; it covers the order and is set out on the written quote before work starts. Special-order and custom-fabricated parts are non-returnable once ordered. We do not bill insurance carriers.

05

The guarantee.

Paint protection film carries the manufacturer’s ten-year warranty on the material, registered in your name for the life of the car. Paint and refinish work carried out in our own booth is warranted for as long as you own the vehicle. The specific terms for your job are set out on the written delivery sheet issued at handover, together with the material ledger for what actually went on the car.

06

What the guarantee does not cover.

Damage that arrives after we do: collision, road debris beyond what the film is rated for, vandalism, fire, chemical or environmental fallout left on the surface, automatic car washes with abrasive brushes, and improper aftercare. Work altered or serviced by another shop is outside it. Normal wear on a consumable is not a defect. If you are unsure whether something is covered, bring the car back and we will look at it before you spend money elsewhere.

07

Parts, materials, and sublet work.

Special-order and custom-fabricated parts are non-returnable once ordered or made. Lead times quoted for third-party hardware are the supplier’s, not ours, and we will tell you as soon as one moves. Where a job needs a specialist we do not have in-house, we will say so and who it is going to.

08

Collection and storage.

We will tell you when the vehicle is ready. Please collect it, or arrange delivery, within seven days of that notice. After that we may charge reasonable daily storage, and a vehicle left for an extended period without contact may be dealt with under Washington law covering abandoned vehicles and repair liens. This is not a clause we enjoy using — a phone call solves it.

09

No insurance carriers.

We are an independent shop and are not a contracted repairer for any insurer. You are welcome to claim on your own policy and we will provide documentation, but the scope is set between you and us, and payment is your responsibility regardless of what a carrier ultimately reimburses.

10

Photography and marketing.

We photograph every vehicle as a condition record, and we may publish some of that work in our gallery and on our channels without your name, address, or plate. Tell us at the consult, or email hi@pacmods.com at any time, and your car stays out of it.

11

Using this website.

The content, photography, and build records on this site belong to us. You are welcome to link to it; please do not republish the photography as your own. Descriptions of services, lead times, and coverage tiers on these pages are indicative — the written quote for your vehicle is what binds.

12

Limitation of liability.

Our responsibility for a job is limited to putting the work right, or to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — loss of use, loss of value, or missed events — beyond that. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

13

Governing law, and how to reach us.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, and any dispute belongs in the courts of Snohomish County. Before it gets that far, call +1 360 926 9009 or email hi@pacmods.com — most things are a conversation, not a case.
